Chiara Consenza ,BSc (Hons) Sports Therapist (MSST)

Chiara completed her BSc Sports Therapy Degree at the London Metropolitan University in 2012.
As part of her degree Chiara completed the following modules: Manual therapy I (peripheral Joints), Manual therapy II (Spinal mobilisation), Physiology of Exercise, Sports Massage, Sports Therapy I -III, Rehabilitation I-II (early stages and late stages). Chiara has extensive experience working with runners and rugby players. She has also worked with the Disability Foundation at Stanmore Hospital.
Sports Massage and soft tissue work has always been Chiara's passion; the techniques she uses vary from deep tissue massage and trigger points to remedial massage technique.
Throughout her carrier Chiara has completed different taping techniques courses, such as Functional Fascial Taping, and KinesioTaping and more recently She has also qualified as a Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage Therapist.
Chiara is registered with The Society of Sports Therapists, she firmly believes that healthy movement is at the base of a healthy body and mind, Chiara is currently enrolled in a Pilates Teacher Training course and really enjoys the philosophy of movement behind this discipline.

Melanie studied with the Jing Institute of advanced clinical massage.
As well as providing a relaxing full body treatment Melanie also specialises in more detailed body work focusing on specific areas of the body to relieve pain caused by trigger point and fascial restrictions, for example Shoulder pain, tension headaches or Sciatic pain.
Melanie is able to deliver a strong massage treatment and the correct amount of pressure for each person according to their preference.
Melanie incorporates Myofascial Release, Advanced Sports Stretching, Trigger Point Therapy, soft tissue release and Advanced Instrument Assisted Therapy in to her treatments where needed to achieve good results in relieving tension, pain and helping to improve mobility.
Melanie has worked with clients ranging from office workers to sports enthusiasts, young and old.
As well as the physical benefits of releasing soft tissue for pain relief and optimum performance Melanie is passionate about the benefits of having a regular massage to help to relieve the stress, anxiety and emotional stress which can so easily accumulate in our lives and impact both our emotional and physical well being.
